Top NFL players week 14

I’ve been dominant in my first week of my 2 money fantasy football leagues. It’s all about paying attention to your players and their matchups.

Do you take that average quarterback going up against the Minnesota Vikings or the New York Giants, who have the worst 2 pass defenses in the league? Of course you do!

Should I pick up a Toby Gerhart who has barely touched the ball all season, just because Adrian Peterson is injured? Heck yeah!

If you stay active in your leagues, you win games. If your team consists of players who are outside of the top 20, you can still achieve success. Watch the waiver wire, stay in-tune to player news and injuries, and grab those backups!

Three weeks of regular season football remain, good luck out there.  Continue reading “Top NFL players week 14” Top NFL players week 14

Top NFL players week 6

As if this year’s NFL season hasn’t been crazy enough, 8 of this week’s top-5 are outside of the top-10 overall for the season. Ahmad Bradshaw claims the lone 30-point performance, putting it to those hapless Bills with 3 scores. Only two quarterbacks landed in the 20-point range, but all 5 running backs had a 20+ point performance. To make things even more exciting, all 6 wide receivers this week are fresh in our top-5 list.

My 49ers are 2nd in the NFL/NFC at 5-1, my Packers are atop by themselves at 6-0, and my prediction Eagles & Falcons are doing quite horrible. My fantasy teams with money involved are both 4-2, so being first/second place in those isn’t too shabby.

And, as you’ve been waiting for, on to the list!  Continue reading “Top NFL players week 6” Top NFL players week 6

Top NFL players – week 3

Who is going to be the hottest free agency pickup on the market this week? Yeah, the guy to my right, Torrey Smith, the Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver taking the place of Lee Evans for the week. This is shocking because not only did he tie Wes Welker for the top receiver position of this past weekend, but they both led all other fantasy players in points for their owners. Surprise? Yeah, a bit.

Another wideout makes the list this week in New York, Victor Cruz replacing Mario Manningham. Those two make the shock factor surreal.

As I only do Quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers on this list, I want to make a special shout-out to two players. One of my all-time favorites, Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley, grabbing 85 yards and 3 touchdowns from Aaron Rodgers (26 points) and… yes, the Dallas Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey for scoring 6-for-6 on field goals last night, netting him 21 fantasy points.

Without further ado, I present week 3’s top players:  Continue reading “Top NFL players – week 3” Top NFL players – week …
