Who’s Jimmy Clausen? The backup to Cam Newton, of course

If fantasy points came in the form of playing the air guitar in the end zone, then Cam Newton would be this week’s bread-winner. I was wrong about Cam, and he can indeed be the man. Granted, he played an Arizona Cardinal team that is without one of its top secondary players, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, whom they let go this pre-season.

Heisman Trophy winner, first pick by last year’s worst team, and now a broken record. Steve Smith (and owners) must be ecstatic. Too bad the Panthers lost the game. But, wow. How about you just watch the highlights?

The Carolina Panthers first-overall draft pick had THE most impressive rookie debut of all time, throwing for 422 yards, two touchdowns (and one interception), and taking one in for a one-yard rush. Fantasy Football fan? Oh yeah, I picked him up for $1, on my trading block now!
