Favre to be fined without suspension for text messages

It has been awhile since I have written about Brett Favre, save for the record-ending hit a few weeks back. Remember that texting issue with him sending nudie photos to a NY Jets reporter Jenn Sterger several years back? Well, we have a resolution. Get this:

Commissioner Roger Goodell is expected to fine Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre for sending suggestive text messages in 2008 to a female New York Jets employee, without suspending the three-time National Football League most valuable player.

So, you suspend Big Ben Roesthlisberger for 4 weeks, and only give Favre a fine of no more than $50,000? Yeah, okay.

Learning as I go along. It's an awesome ride. =-)
