Feelin’ so fly, like a.. what?

“Sippin sizzurp in my ride, like Three 6,Now I’m feelin so fly like a G6, Like a G6, Like a G6.” It sounds super saucy but have you ever wonder what is behind those fancy words?

“A G6 is not a Gatorade flavor. It’s not a car, convertible, four-door. It’s not a watch,” group member Kev Nish says. Nish also explained: “It means we wanted y’all to experience a night with us. We hit the clubs, three clubs in one night. We feel fly. It’s just about ‘feeling fly,’ feeling yourself. Living that night like it’s your last.”
“We made that song in two hours with the Cataracs [their producer],” said Nish’s bandmate, James “Prohgress” Roh. “Great chemistry.”
“We literally just went back of the pool house with the Cataracs and partied, partied, partied, and out came ‘G6,’” Kev added.
“But, Drake talks about having G4 pilots on deck, so we said, ‘What’s flyer than a G4?’ Of course, it would be a G6.”
So the Gulfstream G650 8-passenger jet, a private plane is what they are refering to and feeling fly you already know it’s slang for feeling exceptionally good. Did you know that a G6 was a private plane, what did you think they were talking about?
