Comic Ricky Gervais has dismissed reports he is planning to replace Steve Carell on the US version of The Office. The 49-year-old comedian created the British version of The Office and played the lead role of David Brent. Steve Carell recently quit his role as the central character in the US version of the show and reports claimed bosses were lining up Gervais to take over. However he sent an email to New York magazine and dismissed the rumour.
He said: ‘As David Brent would say: ‘Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt…’ As I would say: ‘Why would I get up at 6am five days a week for seven years when I can hire someone else to do that and still get my syndication money?”

Yes, here we are again. It’s that time of year, where we sit and make fun of ourselves being on “on the edge of our seats” regarding Brett Favre’s decision to play in the NFL again or not.
She spent less than 2 weeks of her 3-month sentence and it makes national headlines? My goodness.
Hate to love him, or love to hate him? Personally, I think Chad Ochocinco of the Cincinnati Bengals is hilarious. Unlike his new teammate Terrell Owens, “85″ brings forth comedy both on and off the field.
