In the latest John Mayer stunt drama, Smashing Pumpkin’s lead singer Billy Corgan commented after Mayer’s foul words of ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson:
“He’s trying to destroy his career. Rather than take a year off or change his musical direction, some part of it is irritating his soul to the point where he’s trying to blow it up. Certainly a talented guy, but empathetically, standing on the sidelines, it’s hard to watch someone literally burn their career to the ground speaking as somebody who’s done it…I think for any person who has celebrity to sort of drop rocks at somebody else’s feet like that, there’s things you should really just keep your mouths shut on. There’s things that should just be left alone.”
Anyone who has been paying attention to John the past few months, whether on accident or otherwise, should be well aware of the fact Mr. Mayer has a racist, sexist, attitude towards everything. The interview at Playboy (click – work safe) was a major hint towards his behavior.
Even my co-worker, Joe, used to sing ‘Gravity’ from time to time at work. He’s stopped, because of the verbal display of moronic behavior that Mayer has displayed recently. John clearly has no class, and his career is dwindling fast.
