I recorded video, it looks damn cool, but the bass and reverberations really fucked up the sound. =/
My camera’s zoom really sucks. Sorry.
Then I saw Hot Hot Heat listed as well. I bought tickets soon thereafter. =)
I now have a HHH shirt from the concert, as well as their new album, which was being sold at the concert. They were fucking awesome.. I feel bad that the crowd wasn’t too into them, and most of them didn’t show up until an hour after the concert started just to see Weezer. Whatever, both of those bands did a really fantastic job though.
The Foo Fighters had a laser and video display that would make Disney Land take notes. Really awesome. I wasn’t really too into Foo Fighters, I have a few songs but they’re not my style really. Dave was at least really energetic though.
The Weezer lead singer and drummer swapped, awesome, and the drummer sang Song 2 by Blur (the Woo Hoo! song, you know?). The lights turned out, and the lead singer ended up going to the back of the stage to do a solo “Island in the Sun” which happened to be about 15 feet away from us. All in all, awesome concert, really. I like the Oakland Arena much better than Shoreline. Filmore is next!
